Aggrieved by the consensus of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC during the just concluded National Convention, former governor Yari and his boys including Sen Kabiru Marafa have approached the opposition PDP for marger/ alliance to defeat the ruling APC. The former Gov who is currently into hiding for fear of arrest by the nation's anti - corruption agencies gave the directive for the commencement of the negotiations for the alliance with the aggrieved members of his camp, is allegedly out of the country. A source in the APC accommodation  Member committee who declined to mention his name said, ” with the recent appointment of His Excellency Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle of Zamfara State to Chair Accommodation committee, His Excellency will any moment from now begin to inspect some selected Hotels for quality test. Reports reaching this medium (SahelReporters) revealed how former Gov Yari of Zamfara state was caught in a meeting with bandits' leaders planning how to attack and massively kidnap participants of the 36th edition of the national Maulud of Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass, which took place in Gusau the Zamfara state capital on Saturday, the 5th of March, 2022.
