IKEJA LG: WIDOWS AND ELDERLY REJOICE AS THEY RECEIVE FOOD PALLIATIVES

‎‎In further demonstration of its commitment to social welfare and inclusive governance, Ikeja Local Government on Wednesday carried out the distribution of food palliatives to widows and elderly residents across the local government area.‎‎ The intervention, which took place at the Ikeja Local Government Marriage Registry Hall, was organized under the leadership of the Chairperson, Ikeja Local Government, Mrs. Temitope Fausat Dauda, as part of ongoing efforts to cushion the effects of economic hardship on vulnerable groups within the community.‎‎ Speaking at the event, Mrs. Dauda emphasized that caring for widows and senior citizens remains a core priority of the Ikeja Local Government administration.
