One Week before the commencement of the planed August 1st Nationwide protest against the government of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu by governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State for higher cost of living, the Zamfara State government through the office of the Secretary to the State government Malam Nakwada has secured Approval as directed by governor Dauda Lawal of the sum of N450,000,000.00 to sponsor thugs in the State to protest against the Minister of State for Defence His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle and president Bola Ahmed Tinubu led admiinistration.

As luck would have it, Distinguished senator Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari the Senator representing Zamfara west had along with the Honourable Minister of State for Defence Bello Mohammed Matawalle uses what is called their political popularity in the State to Stop 13 out of the 14 Local government from participating in State government sponsored protest.
