RAMADAN: MATAWALLE LAUNCHES DISTRIBUTION OF 7000 BAGS OF RICE TO ZAMFARA APC MEMBERS FROM PRESIDENT TINUBU










The Hon Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has today launched the distribution of 7,000 bags of rice to Zamfara APC members in Gusau, the state capital.


Handing over the commodity to the party executives in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, the Minister who revealed that the foodstuff is a personal donation from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urged the party members to continue to pray for the return of peace in the state as the federal government under the President is taking all the necessary steps in tackling the menace of banditry and other criminal activities in the state and the northwest region. 


Minister Matawalle was represented at the event by the Zamfara State APC Chairman, Hon Tukur Umar Danfulani.


He said the gesture is to appreciate the efforts of the APC leadership in the state for their hard work, dedication, and loyalty, which is making the party stronger and more united. 


He said despite the fact that the party is not in control of Zamfara State, its members are looking good, better than the members of the ruling party in the state because their appearance shows a sign of good living 


He called for continued understanding and tolerance among the party members at all levels for the purpose of having one party with one voice in the state assuring that as leaders they will continue to support the party in whatever form to succeed. 


The Minister explained that the 7000 bags of rice are to be distributed free to all target beneficiaries from state executives, local government to ward level for them celebrate the forthcoming Eid celebrations with ease


Receiving the gesture on behalf of the party members, the state secretary of the party, Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima thanked the minister for the free distribution of the commodity.


Dangaladima, who said the free rice came at the right time when people are battling with conflicting daily needs, assured that all targeted persons will receive their share as expected.


He said Zamfara APC members are known for their patience, law abiding and dedicated to the growth of the party and the state which has continued to make the party attractive to many who have in turn continued to join the party in the state.


The launching ceremony was attended by the APC Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau, Welfare Secretary, Alh.Bashir Idris Ataka, Assistant Publicity Secretary, Hon. Junaidu Attahiru Dosara, Assistant Welfare Secretary, Hon. Shehu J. Muhammad, Chairman APC Gusau Local government, Hon Abubakar Tijjani Dan-Ayyah, Kaura Namoda APC Chairman, Alh. Suleiman Danmalikin Gabake, former Chairmen of Gusau Local government, Engr Babangida Abdullahi, Hon. Sanusi Mohammed Sarki and Hon. Ibrahim Maaji admin, among others.
